CSR Projects
The CSR Policy outlines the Company’s philosophy for delivering its responsibility as a corporate citizen and lays down the guidelines for undertaking the CSR activities:
- Promoting education including special education and professional education, promoting education of differently abled children, measures for reduction of inequalities faced by underprivileged and promoting employment enhancing vocational skills through education.
- Contribute to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, PM CARES Fund or any other government fund set up for relief and development
- Contribute towards healthcare and combating diseases
- Eradicating poverty, promotion of measures for reducing inequalities faced by underprivileged including contribution to healthcare for underprivileged and contribute towards such efforts
- Promotion of measures for ensuring environmental sustainability and ecological balance, maintaining environmental quality of air, soil and water, protection and development of flora and fauna and animal welfare
- Social business projects and such other CSR projects as may be notified by the Government from time to time
Pursuant to provisions of Section 135(9) of the Companies Act 2013, the functions of the CSR Committee are discharged directly by the Board of Directors at their meetings.
